| Good morning San Diego Ladies! Last newsletter introduced you to the fabulous world of SMARTY and what you can expect from us in terms of networking and future events. In this newsletter, I hope to touch on the importance of staying connected and keeping your finger on the pulse with whats going on in San Diego and how best to leverage that for your business. |
| One of the keys to building my business success has been to become a great connector. Within the SMARTY universe, we don't love the word 'networking' but we love connecting, and we all see it as a necessary and really fulfilling part of being in business. We all need to 'network', but how do you do it efficiently? How do you make it fun? How do you get 100 women into one room and give them interesting stories and information they can take home? You come to a SMARTY event. Network and connect with other business owners, freelancers, entrepreneurial-employees and more. Our upcoming event will give you the opporutnity to do just that! Come hear Madison Gallery Owner, Lorna York, share her entrepreneurial journey and find out how she took an idea and mixed it with some positive thought and energy to create a very successful (and profitable) company. Staying Connected in San Diego
Introducing SMARTY San Diego
| Hello 2011 Everyone! A fabulous community that serves as a one-stop-shop for entrepreneurial women and women-in-business is about to launch in San Diego and take the city by storm! Founded in 2008 by Amy Swift-Crosby (founding editor-in-chief of Ladies who Launch), SMARTY delivers premium programs and monthly events as a way to inspire and connect entrepreneurial women. SMARTY’s success is based on three essential elements for women: solid foundation/solid practices, support and collaboration from community, and ongoing education and opportunity for expansion. | |
| What can you expect from a SMARTY Event? - Highly chic, low-key but high impact events and networking with some of the most recognized and accomplished women in business. Past SMARTY speakers include Candace Nelson (founder of Sprinkles Cupcakes), Jackie Collins, and Ariana Huffington, as well as business celebrities like Dermalogica founder Jane Wurwand, fitness expert Kathy Smith and best-selling author, Libby Gill. Elise and I are proud to be bringing this concept and community to the women of San Diego who embody the SMARTY mission of connecting innovative and exceptional women. Please click here to receive our weekly SMARTYSD newsletter for updates on events, SMART conversations, and incredible networking opportunities throughout San Diego County. | |
